Runtz Muffin

What Runtz Muffin Is

Runtz Muffin is a potent cannabis strain from Barney’s Farm, crossing Runtz with Orange Punch. Because Runtz is itself Zkittlez crossed with Gelato, the result is effectively a three-way cross of two American candy-flavoured classics and a citrus parent.

Genetics

The Runtz and Orange Punch cross is the most consistent account across sources. One listing adds Banana Kush to the mix, which conflicts with everything else and we have not carried it through.

Potency and Balance

Reported THC runs 27.5% to 29%. The indica/sativa balance is genuinely disputed: the seed databases call it 70/30 indica, one consumer database calls it sativa-dominant, and a grow database calls it indica-dominant. Two of three favour indica, which is what this listing uses, but a ratio is not a reliable basis for expectations here.

Aroma and Flavour

Barney’s own description is worth quoting for once: a sweet, perfumed lavender character with a hint of clementine. The floral note is unusual and comes through in the linalool.

Growing Runtz Muffin

Flowering runs 56 to 63 days with yields reported up to 550–600 g/m². Sold as feminized seed only.

Grower Data

Figures below come from the breeder’s own product feed. They describe what the plant does under the breeder’s conditions, which is a ceiling rather than a promise. Yields in particular depend far more on the grower than on the genetics.

As a photoperiod plant it needs a light-cycle change to begin flowering, so the figure above counts from that switch rather than from seed.

Note the outdoor yield is substantially higher than indoor. That gap is normal for a plant given unrestricted root space and full sun, and it is why the outdoor figure is the one most often quoted in marketing.
