Orange Punch Strain — Indica, 16% THC
Granddaddy Purps Crossed With Orange Bud
Orange Punch is the Dutch Passion cross of elite Granddaddy Purps and Orange Bud cuttings. Dutch Passion’s own account is unusually candid about what happened next: the first cross tasted excellent and yielded badly, so they crossed it again with Critical for vigour. That second cross is the strain sold as Critical Orange Punch.
So Orange Punch is the intermediate step, and Critical Orange Punch is the commercial product. A lineage naming Orange Punch is pointing at the first cross.
Potency
Dutch Passion does not publish a lab figure in anything we found. A grower-community listing gives 12% THC and 0.5% CBD, describing medium levels up to 16%. Retail copy calls it high-THC without a number. The 16% above takes the top of the one numeric range we found; treat it as approximate.
This is a wide gap between what growers measure and what marketing implies, and it is the reason the figure is presented with its source rather than on its own.
Growing
Reported flowering runs 7 to 8 weeks for the feminised photoperiod version, and about 75 days seed to harvest for the autoflower. Flavour is described as skunky citrus with an Afghan hash aroma. These come from seed retailers and grow journals, not from a breeder datasheet.
