Mimosa x Orange Punch is a potent, citrus-forward cannabis strain from Barney’s Farm, built by backcrossing Orange Punch with Mimosa EVO. The breeder is explicit that this was deliberate backcrossing rather than a single cross, which is unusual honesty in seed marketing.

Potency

Barney’s says it has tested at 30%, a separate listing gives 31%, and a grower database lists 30%. The figures are consistent with each other but all trace to breeder-adjacent sources.

One caveat worth knowing: the major consumer database lists a strain called Mimosa Punch with the same parent names and the same 65/35 split, but gives it 20% THC. That may be a separate listing or a data error, and it does not clearly describe this plant.

Balance

Given as 65% indica, 35% sativa, though the reported effects lean more uplifting than that ratio would suggest.

Aroma and Flavour

Citrus and tangerine-candy. Dominant terpenes are given as beta-caryophyllene, linalool and limonene.

Growing

The breeder lists it as a compact plant, finishing at 90–110 cm indoors and 150–180 cm outdoors. Those are Barney’s own figures under their conditions rather than independent measurements.

As a photoperiod plant it needs a light-cycle change to begin flowering, so the figure above counts from that switch rather than from seed.

Note the outdoor yield is substantially higher than indoor. That gap is normal for a plant given unrestricted root space and full sun, and it is why the outdoor figure is the one most often quoted in marketing.
