Grape Gas

Grape Gas is a hybrid cannabis strain crossing Grape Pie with Jet Fuel Gelato: dark fruit over a fuel top note, which is exactly what the name promises.

Genetics and History

The Grape Pie and Jet Fuel Gelato cross is the most common account, and the same genetics are also sold as Grape Gasoline. Breeder credit is split between Compound Genetics and True Canna Genetics, with the main databases listing Compound Genetics as original breeder.

Grape Pie is itself Cherry Pie crossed with Grape Stomper and anchors the dark grape, black cherry and berry notes. Jet Fuel Gelato adds the kerosene top layer and a creamy finish. Further back the family includes F1 Durban, Sour Diesel, OG Kush and Super Skunk.

Several distinct strains share this name, which matters if you are shopping. Grape Gas #7 is an indica-dominant cross of Purple Halitosis and The One from True Canna Genetics, listed at 22% THC with 1% CBG. Grape Gass from Cannarado Genetics marries Diablo OG with Grape Pie. All three are different plants.

Potency

Reviews put it in the mid-twenties with one tested sample at 26%; the databases list Grape Gasoline at 25%. Broader guides cite 22% to 28%, though some of their other claims are unsourced.

Aroma and Flavour

Dark grape and berry with a diesel edge. Dominant terpenes for the Grape Gasoline listing are myrcene, then linalool and caryophyllene. The linalool is what keeps the fruit from reading as flatly sweet.

Reported Effects

Users report feeling relaxed, euphoric and uplifted. One reviewer described an even-keeled buzz in an indica package, with a heavy sedating weight arriving after a single hit. These are reported impressions rather than guaranteed outcomes.
