Blue Zushi is an indica-leaning hybrid cannabis strain bred by TenCo in California around 2019, crossing Zkittlez with Kush Mints. Of the strains in the Zushi family it is the best documented, and the lineage is consistent across sources rather than disputed.

Genetics and History

TenCo is a Los Angeles breeder with a run of Zkittlez-derived releases: Blue Zushi, Pink Zushi, Yellow Zushi and Nozu. The parents divide the profile cleanly: Zkittlez brings the tropical fruit sweetness, Kush Mints brings the creamy minty gas and the potency.

Listings generally give roughly 60% indica to 40% sativa, though some sellers describe it as more heavily indica.

Be aware of the offshoots: Elev8's Zushi Supreme is marketed as an S1 of Blue Zushi, and Zushi Verde crosses Blue Zushi with Berry Verde. One Seedfinder listing gives Zushi Supreme a sativa-dominant genotype, the opposite of Blue Zushi, so cut-specific details matter.

Potency

Figures conflict. Breeder testing reports up to 26%, with more recent results near 28%; one seller claims around 32%; strain databases give a 25% to 30% range. One source notes Blue Zushi cuts have run as low as 13% and as high as 33%, which is an unusually wide spread. This listing uses 26%, the breeder-tested figure. Any 80% number you see belongs to a vape concentrate, not flower.
