A Delicatessen Line, Better Known for Its Children

Queen Mother is a sativa-leaning strain from the Spanish breeder Delicatessen, described as intended to echo Goji OG. Seedfinder lists a long row of strains bred from it, including Alice, Her Majesty and Lilly, which is the clearest evidence of its standing: it is used as breeding stock more than it is sold as flower.

We have not found a published parent cross for Queen Mother itself, and this page does not invent one.

A Caution About Our Own Lineage Data

Our Dream Queen page gives its parents as Blue Dream and Queen Mother. The commonly published account of Dream Queen is Blue Dream crossed with Space Queen, which is a different plant. One of the two is wrong and we have not been able to establish which, so both the link and this warning stand until someone checks it properly.

Growing

SeedFinder’s profile gives indoor flowering at about 60 days, a strong stretch once flowering starts, and a finished height around 90 cm. The grower reports many thick buds on the side branches, and lists wood, acidic and pepper on the palate against energetic, uplifting effects.

That is one grower’s profile rather than a dataset, and its 9-out-of-10 rating rests on the same single entry. It is specific enough to be useful and thin enough to say so.

Lineage

SeedFinder traces Queen Mother back through a chain of Congo and La Reunion sativas, and lists roughly 16 direct Delicatessen descendants. That ancestry fits the sativa-leaning description better than the Goji OG comparison does.

Potency

No figure was found from Delicatessen or from any lab. The 18% above is an estimate consistent with the sativa-leaning description, not a measurement.
