Pinkman Goo Strain — Indica, 18.5% THC

Pinkman Goo is an indica-dominant cannabis strain best known for an unusual physical trait: resinous droplets that form on the surface of its pink-tinged flowers. It is one of the few strains whose name describes something you can actually see.

Genetics and History

The lineage is genuinely disputed, and anyone telling you otherwise is picking a side. Several seed and strain databases list it as a three-way cross of Granddaddy Purple, Grape Ape and Northern Lights #5, with Allbud describing it as roughly 80% indica and 20% sativa from those parents.

Leafly takes a different view entirely, crediting the strain to a grower named Twompson Praeter and stating that its genetic background remains unknown: the seedstock, by that account, was discovered by Praeter's sister in a tin hidden behind a stove. Other guides note that breeder-released lineage data has been kept private.

We have no way to adjudicate between these accounts, so we are not going to list parents we cannot stand behind.

The Droplets

The trait the strain is named for is real but inconsistent. Growers report that the resinous drops appear on the flowers during photosynthesis, and that large globs are unusual rather than typical: plenty of Pinkman Goo plants never produce them at all.

Claims circulate that droplet-bearing buds test higher in THC, by up to 3 to 4 percentage points. That figure comes from grower reports rather than controlled testing, and should be read as folklore until someone measures it properly.

Potency

Reported THC sits around 18% to 19%, which is at the lower end of the Canadian market. Unusually, it also carries measurable CBD: Allbud lists around 1%, while one grow diary reports as little as 0.1%. Even the higher figure is modest, but it puts Pinkman Goo among the small minority of strains in our catalogue listing CBD at 1% or above.

Reported Effects

As an indica-dominant strain it is commonly described as physically relaxing, with users reporting calm, happiness and sleepiness. These are reported impressions rather than guarantees, and at under 19% THC it is gentler than most of what is on the Canadian market.

Growing Notes

Growers describe it as short in stature with a flowering time of roughly eight to eleven weeks. The droplet trait cannot be relied on, so it is better treated as a curiosity than a reason to choose the strain.

FAQ

What are Pinkman Goo’s genetics?
They are disputed. Several databases list Granddaddy Purple, Grape Ape and Northern Lights #5, while Leafly states the lineage is unknown and credits the strain to a grower named Twompson Praeter. We do not list parents we cannot verify.
Why does Pinkman Goo produce droplets?
Growers report resinous drops forming on the flowers during photosynthesis. The trait is real but inconsistent — many plants never produce them, and large globs are unusual.
Do the droplets mean higher THC?
That claim circulates, with figures of 3 to 4 percentage points quoted. It comes from grower reports rather than controlled testing, so treat it as folklore rather than fact.
How strong is Pinkman Goo?
Reported THC is around 18% to 19%, which is at the lower end of the Canadian market. It also lists CBD around 1%, which is unusual — fewer than one percent of strains in our catalogue do.
Is Pinkman Goo an indica?
It is described as indica-dominant, with one source putting it at roughly 80% indica. Given the lineage is disputed, that ratio is a report rather than a verified figure.
