Gorilla Zkittlez

What Gorilla Zkittlez Is

Gorilla Zkittlez is an indica-leaning cannabis strain from Barney’s Farm, crossing Gorilla Glue #4 with Zkittlez. It is also sold as Gorilla Z, a shortened label for the same plant.

Sources name the parents slightly differently (some say Original Glue and The Original Z), but these refer to the same lines under their non-trademarked names.

Potency

Barney’s marketing claims around 24%. The consumer databases decline to give a number and rate it simply as higher than average with medium-to-high THC. The 24% figure is the breeder’s, so read it as a best case rather than a typical result.

Reported Effects

Calming and, at higher doses, sedating. Listings give roughly 60% indica to 40% sativa. These are reported impressions rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Growing Gorilla Zkittlez

Feminized photoperiod seed with flowering around 56 to 63 days. Barney’s also sells an autoflowering version carrying their Super Auto line, listed at about 20% THC with a 75-day cycle, a different product from this one.

Grower Data

Figures below come from the breeder’s own product feed. They describe what the plant does under the breeder’s conditions, which is a ceiling rather than a promise. Yields in particular depend far more on the grower than on the genetics.

As a photoperiod plant it needs a light-cycle change to begin flowering, so the figure above counts from that switch rather than from seed.

Note the outdoor yield is substantially higher than indoor. That gap is normal for a plant given unrestricted root space and full sun, and it is why the outdoor figure is the one most often quoted in marketing.
