Do-Si-Dos is OGKB, the OG Kush Breath phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies, crossed with Face Off OG BX1. Archive Seed Bank is credited with it, and this account is consistent across every source we checked, which is unusual for a strain this popular.

The BX1 matters. Face Off OG BX1 came from breeding the Face Off OG #4 clone to an heirloom line called the Manic, then backcrossing the progeny once to the Face Off OG #4 mother. So one parent is itself a stabilised backcross rather than a plain cut.

The Two Parents Do Different Jobs

OGKB supplies the sweetness, the dusky green-to-purple colouring and the dessert nose. Face Off OG supplies gas, pine and structure. That division is why the plant reads as a Cookies strain with a fuel backbone rather than as either parent on its own.

Potency: a Gap Worth Knowing About

A measured 16.40% against an advertised 25 to 30% is not a rounding difference. It does not prove the higher numbers are false, since phenotype and grow conditions move potency a long way, but it does show what one real batch tested at. Treat a number on a package as a claim until a certificate backs it.

Terpenes

Limonene, caryophyllene and linalool are the three named most consistently. That combination fits the reported profile: citrus lift over the pepper and gas, with linalool behind the floral, sedative end.

When Was It Made

Sources disagree. Leafly says Archive selected it in 2012; a Zamnesia listing says 2016. The earlier date is more consistent with how long the cut has circulated, but we have not found Archive's own statement and are not going to pick one on feel.

Watch the Name

Several breeders sell a Do-Si-Dos OG and other variants that are not this plant. Original Sensible Seeds and others have their own versions. Check the breeder, not just the name.
