Shipping and Insurance

Herb Approach ships via Canada Post with tracking numbers provided on all orders. Free shipping applies to orders over $150 (after discounts); orders under $150 incur a $15 flat-rate shipping fee. The minimum order is $100 CAD. Estimated delivery time is 2–5 business days to major cities, with 5+ days possible for remote locations.

The same-day shipping cutoff is 9 AM PST: orders paid before this time on weekdays ship the same business day. The dispensary recommends sending payment the day before the desired shipping date, as payments are processed in the order they are received.

Optional Insured Shipping

Herb Approach offers optional insured shipping as a paid add-on at checkout. Insured orders that are lost or undeliverable receive either full reimbursement (to place a new order) or a one-time replacement package. Non-insured orders that are lost after a Canada Post trace may not be refunded. Insurance is not available for shipments to Nunavut, Northern Quebec, Yukon, or Northwest Territories.

Loyalty Program and Rewards

Herb Approach operates one of the more generous loyalty programs in the Canadian MOM space, with multiple ways to earn and redeem points:

• Sign-up bonus: 500 points ($25) upon account approval
• Purchases: 1 point per $1 spent (excluding shipping)
• Product reviews: 10 points per review (purchased items only)
• Instagram Toker's Tuesday: 420 points for posting and tagging
• Facebook page like: 50 points
• Facebook review: 100 points
• Referral: 500 points ($25) for both referrer and referred

Points are redeemed at checkout at a rate of 20 points per $1 in discount. Free gifts are also available on orders of $150 and above. Gift options must be selected during checkout.

Account Registration and ID Verification

New customers must register at herbapproach.com and submit government-issued ID via email for age verification. Account approval typically takes within 24 hours, after which the 500-point sign-up bonus is credited. This verification process has drawn some criticism from users who find the photo requirement inconvenient, particularly older customers without smartphones.

Customer Reputation and Community Feedback

Herb Approach has built a loyal customer base over its 15+ year history, with many reviewers citing years of repeat ordering. Recent Trustpilot feedback is generally positive, with praise for product quality, delivery speed, and friendly customer service.

Common Praise

• Consistent product quality matching advertised THC levels
• Fast delivery (2–5 days typical)
• Well-priced bulk orders and frequent sales
• Helpful, responsive customer support team
• Discreet, professional packaging

Common Concerns

• Significant stock-outs reported (40+ pages of sold-out products flagged in February 2026)
• Points system glitches affecting checkout discounts
• Occasional fulfillment delays beyond expected shipping times
• ID verification barrier for non-mobile users
• No cash refunds: all reimbursements issued as store credit

The overall trajectory suggests a well-established dispensary with strong fundamentals but some recent growing pains around inventory management. Prospective buyers should check stock availability before placing large orders.
