What to Know About Distillate

Distillate is cannabis extract refined by heating and condensing to isolate a single compound, usually THC. The result is a clear, thick oil with little smell or taste of its own, which is why it is used in most vape cartridges and many edibles. Syringes of distillate are sold for dabbing, filling carts or adding to food.

Health Canada describes extracts such as shatter, budder and wax as often the strongest cannabis products, and the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction notes that regular use of high-strength extracts can raise your tolerance to THC. A little goes a long way.
